Learning How to Deal

Well I have been here for one month now and I am learning how to deal. So in the time that I have been here this is what I have learned:

  1. Investigate banking information before you leave the States
  2. You can never ask too many questions
  3. The extra money for McDonald's combos are worth it
  4. Don't get frustrated at the constant "I don't know" spoken by Koreans when you didn't ask them a question in the first place, it's their way of saying they don't understand
  5. It takes them a while to respond because they are trying to think in their head so be patient
  6. The best three channels to watch if you don't have cable are OCN, MBC movies, and Super Action channel
  7. I never get tired of watching CSI: Las Vegas, NY, or Miami
  8. "Everybody Loves Raymond" is a lot funnier when it's the only American sitcom to watch
  9. Last minute is not a bad thing in Korea
  10. Youtube is my source to the outside world
  11. Just because you don't say Thousand after Won doesn't make whatever you're buying less expensive
