Well I have been here for one month now and I am learning how to deal. So in the time that I have been here this is what I have learned:
- Investigate banking information before you leave the States
- You can never ask too many questions
- The extra money for McDonald's combos are worth it
- Don't get frustrated at the constant "I don't know" spoken by Koreans when you didn't ask them a question in the first place, it's their way of saying they don't understand
- It takes them a while to respond because they are trying to think in their head so be patient
- The best three channels to watch if you don't have cable are OCN, MBC movies, and Super Action channel
- I never get tired of watching CSI: Las Vegas, NY, or Miami
- "Everybody Loves Raymond" is a lot funnier when it's the only American sitcom to watch
- Last minute is not a bad thing in Korea
- Youtube is my source to the outside world
- Just because you don't say Thousand after Won doesn't make whatever you're buying less expensive
